BONUS POST: Gift Guide #1

Hellooooo pals,

Let us all admire Disneyland at Christmas time in my featured photo first.. now we move on. So yesterday I was clicking a bunch of buttons trying to further figure out this blog thing, which led to me accidentally posting a random blog post and some confused email subscribers (I made this plural to make it seem cool, but really it was only Brittany). This blog post was just a link to a blank webpage, so my non-subscribers didn’t miss much.. But this is a perfect time to remind you all to subscribe so you don’t miss anything else that could possibly be of importance. I could announce some really cool stuff to my email subscribers and you might miss it because you’re trying to play hard to get.. so just subscribe so neither of us end up sad. 🙂

As an apology for my click-happy fingers, I am here today to give you a bonus post! WHOOOP WHOOP! My plan for this blog is to start doing fitness posts (tips, workouts, playlists type of thing), but that requires working out, and besides my class I teach on Sunday and an occasional quick gym sesh, you could say I have been a little absent from the gym lately. Normally when I start to lack motivation in the fitness department, I like to get a new pair of leggings or make a new playlist to get me back in the gym. Today’s first gift guide will be centered around the guy/gal you are shopping for that lives at the gym (or uses their membership once a year.. everyone deserves nice workout clothes). Hopefully this guide will help us all get back on the horse so we can use that as an excuse to eat excessive amounts this holiday season! (If you want to shop any of these items, click the picture!)

Da boys are up first!

This Nike performance tee is perfect for any workout, and will keep you dry to make sure your workout is uninterrupted.

Nike Tech Shorts are perfect for workouts which involve a lot of movement. They resist tears and ripping so you can throw that crossfit bar as many times as you want (and cry out to let other gym-goers know how hard you MUST be working) with no fear that these babies will split.
These resistance bands are great to add to any workout for an extra challenge. Go extra heavy and stack the black and blue to really feel the burn.
Nike’s Free Run Commuter is my favorite running shoe of theirs, with a good amount of support. You don’t even need to know how to tie your shoes since you can just tighten these guys right on up. This pair is currently ON SALE.
FGG 11
The unofficial official shirt of Farley men. This 1/4 zip is perfect for light layering or quick outdoor workouts.
The Holy Grail of pants.. granted I have never tried any men’s Lululemon pants, but if they are anything like the women’s ones.. you absolutely need them. Great for to and from the gym or even lifting days.

Now to the ladies! 🙂

I just purchased this Zella strappy black crop top and I am in LOVE. So so cute, sweat wicking, and supportive enough to be worn without a sports bra underneath.  Perfect with high waist leggings!
FGG 14
A great gym bag is necessary for a successful gym visit. This one has a mesh pocket for drying wet clothes, and a separate compartment for dirty shoes!
Tiffany blue is always a great color for any season, and these running shoes are perfect for all sorts of workouts. These Nike Lunar Epic Lows are ON SALE, and yes mother, these can ACTUALLY be worn to workout/run in.

Gymshark leggings are super affordable and perfect for all types of workouts. They are especially nice if you’re lacking in the department of junk in the trunk, because these babies do the lifting and sculpting for you.

Whitney Simmons pulled through with her collection. From super cute phrases to colors like baby pink, mauve, and light blue, her apparel is a fun flair to add to any athleisure/workout outfit.
If you are a living, breathing human being, you probably already own a Hydroflask or some version of it by now.. but I present to you, the glass water bottle. It’s practically impossible to break and won’t dent each time you drop it. The best part is you can buy tons of different colors/patterns in the sleeves so they can change with the day, or even your mood.

Good exercise underwear are severely overlooked, and that is concerning. Proper stretch and fabric is vital for good underwear. Before you write this one off, workout in some good ones like these, then put your scratchy cotton ones back on, and THEN come talk to me. Scheels always has these UA ones for half price!
First off.. love so so much. Second, bought these today. And third, if you are in need of a pant that can be worn everyday as well as while working out, buy these. Please. If you are a Reno local, you can even make your way down to Sweatbox in the Basement to pick up a pair. Shop local whenever you can!
Whenever I show up at the gym with no headphones, I kiss my workout goodbye, and curse whoever wished such bad fortune upon me. Get pumped up and amplify your workout with this wireless pair.
Just found this in my search for this gift guide, and am now about 99% sure I will be ordering this for myself. Comfy cotton tee for light workouts and lounging! The baby pink writing and logo is just too precious.

And last but certainly not least.. more velvet. Really wish I had these in my life.. So cute to throw on post workout to keep you warm and stylin’ through the rest of the day.

Hopefully this guide can help you cross one or two people off of your Christmas list, or give you ideas of things you want to add to yours! Happy Shopping! And as long as I don’t do anything weird, see you all on Tuesday for my first guest post. 🙂 DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE
