Hey there you cutie pies,
So good news, Valentine’s Day is just about a week away, so it’s time to get to outfit planning, candy eating, and flower receiving. Males, if you have not come up with any sort of plan or made necessary reservations, now’s your time big guy. But the good news for us gals is that our biggest concern for the day of love (and Reese’s Hearts) is finding a super cute outfit.
Whether you are going out with your boo thang, watching rom-coms and sobbing uncontrollably, meeting up with your girls for a Galentine’s Day, or wallowing in pity and hating the holiday altogether, I would still suggest looking cute while doing it. 🙂 Maybe you prefer the full-on seductress look (I am gonna keep it PG on the blog, but you do your thing), or maybe a look of red and pink head-to-toe, but either way or even in between, I am here to give you some V-Day outfit inspiration, and remind you that today is the last day to order your looks without having to pay expedited shipping!!!
I really have no idea what my Valentine’s Day plans are so far, but I can almost guarantee they will yield jeans and some booties, so I decided to do a flirty, semi-fancy look for those of you headed out to dinner or a cute party.
This cutie look is super simple with a festive dress, simple heels, and colored clutch.
So of course this picture was mid-fall, but I managed to recover before hitting the ground. 🙂 Since balancing in heels is not my specialty, we will start with the shoes, which are a super simple pair of nude, suede, ankle-strap heels by Sam Edelman. These ones are great because they have a thin strap (which makes the leg look longer compared to a thick strap that cuts off the leg), and the block heel makes them easier to walk around in.
This dress is majorly adorable and has a precious back detail. Beware that this number is a wee bit see-through, so I would suggest some nude undies, but it is super lightweight and comfy. The best part about this dress is that it is less than $20 at Forever 21!!! Major deal, so flirty, and too cute! I️t can also be transitioned into a spring/summer piece with a jean jacket and some wedges.
And of course the pink clutch pulls the whole look together. This cutie patootie is a Rebecca Minkoff clutch, but the best part is that it can be turned into a crossbody or shoulder bag with the help of the removable chain-link strap.
And now I have 12 other pieces that would be perfect for whatever you have planned this February 14th! 🙂
