Happy Friday! Here is my first of many installments for the greatest holiday gift giving experience of all time.. and maybe receiving??
I decided to dedicate my first one to the hardest person to shop for.. someone like me. 🙂 Now do I take pride in being overly difficult to purchase something for? Maybe a little. BUT I am here to take the guess work out of it for you and guarantee you find the perfect gift for anyone and everyone out there. To shop the collage, just hover over the specific item and click the ‘plus’ to follow the link. Super easy and simple just like that.
I hope you enjoy, and happy gifting.

Back once again on this fabulous Tuesday. Six days until Christmas, and a bajillion different sales/deals going on online. If you are the worst procrastinator known to mankind, there is a pretty good chance you still have not finished your shopping. Now me, the Christmas aficionado, finished my shopping weeks ago, but I am here to help you finish yours.
The number one retailer having online sales each day up until Christmas is Urban Outfitters. You already missed out on the buy one, get one 50% off (so sorry, I’ll be better next time), but today’s special is 25% off your entire order, while tomorrow could bring an even greater surprise. I would suggest stocking up your cart with denim, tops, accessories, and maybe even some new shoes (mostly for yourself). American Eagle is also having a sale with most of their site being 50% off and jeans & joggers priced at 25% off.
If you enjoy the panic of ordering everything last minute, and the stress associated with possibly giving your family empty boxes, wait a couple more days. If not, GET TO ORDERING YOU COTTON HEADED NINNY MUGGINS. I also have a cute little outfit with pieces from Urban Outfitters and American Eagle, and accessorizing ideas to help you decide exactly what the lovely ladies in your life need.
This outfit consists of a black denim acid-wash skirt, a fun band tee, some black heeled booties, and a hat or jacket depending on how frisky you’re feeling that day.
Might as well start in the middle because why not. I already explained this skirt a teeny bit, but I have a few more things to say about it. This baby has a cinched waist and a fun 90’s vibe with the black acid-wash element. Which I just checked, and it’s sold out now.. 🙁 But here are a few cute other options, also on sale, since I am a nice lady! (just click the pictures and it will bring you to the direct link)
Next onto the hat, because I feel like it.
This large brim hat is an oldie but a goodie from Forever 21. I love the heather gray color, as well as the fact that it fits my huge head. Whenever you are buying hats, only get the sized ones. It took me way too long to figure out that hats don’t actually hurt your head if you are wearing the right size. 🙂
That hat is another cutie pie on sale too! Lucky you! Now let’s get down to the shoesies.
No surprise here, but these are the same shoes as last week. I wish I had more shoes, and trust me I’m workin on my shoe collection, but until then I will continue to bore you with my favorite black heeled booties over and over.
MORE VELVET SHOES ON SALEEEEE
Now to the shirt. And first I would like to start by saying, No, I do not know 10 songs by the Rolling Stones, nor do I really even know one. I’m really not even sure when the Rolling Stones were around, but I like the shirt, so I am gonna wear it, and you’re gonna like it. It is a super soft cotton and not too heavy.
Aaaaaand here are more shirts!
The last bit of this is the cute little leather jacket which you all need. And when I say little, I am not kidding. This thing is small, most definitely size up. It is faux leather and has a different neckline so it doesn’t look like every other leather jacket out there.
MORE SALE OPTIONS
Well that is the outfit dear friends, and the end of another post dedicated to me helping you. 🙂 So long, farewell.
Upon reading the title, you probably thought to yourself, “False, I have never once thought that.” But I am here to change your mind. I was also just like you once, and never thought twice about some red thigh-high boots.. Until the day when I saw Halsey, the most perfect woman ever, wearing the most beautiful pair at her concert in November. Now let me tell ya, I immediately decided I had to have a pair. Let me also tell ya that “red thigh-highs” does not yield a whole lot of options on the world wide interweb.
So after a whole lot of searching, I finally came across a contender, which was a suede pair online at Nordstrom. I was skeptical at first, but I happened to find them in person at a Nordstrom in California.. It was easy to say they were love at first sight and had to be mine. But being that I am not the queen of practical clothing purchases, I got those suckers home and had to do some real brainstorming. Considering I don’t plan on going on any world tours anytime soon, these boots had to be worn elsewhere.
Now I know, these boots are a lot. I don’t deny that. And they probably wouldn’t be your first thought for Christmas attire.. but I am here advocating for those who are trying to be the fiercest one in their Grandma’s dining room on December 25th. Children close your eyes for this part, these boots are made for bad bitches, so you gotta own ’em. These boots are sights to be seen, so you can also wear them for your next night out on the town, and do some major stompin’.
Your eyes just aren’t quite ready yet to see them, and I need to discuss the rest of the outfit so you all don’t start to think I am obsessed with a shoe.. (although I am) But here we are at the top. I am going to start by saying I love stripes. I love them a lot. And I love black & white pattern to balance out a bright shoe or accessory. This Free People top is super soft and so so cute. I about die every time I see the adorable ruffled trumpet sleeves. It also has a ruffled “lettuce” hem, but I tucked it in for a different type of look. Also beware of these sleeves, I accidentally dipped them in at least 4 different food groups on Thanksgiving. (this color is sold out, but I linked the other option)
Just a little sneak peek since I still don’t think you are ready for them. And now we can talk about the skirt. So this little fella is also Free People, and at one time was a steal at Macys. Look out for sales people! This skirt is a black mini with a cute front-side zipper detail and yes, the zipper does work. It is just the right length, and super stretchy to account for however many cinnamon rolls and mashed potatoes you eat on Christmas. It comes in so many other colors and patterns and can easily be dressed up or down.
Brittany would be very proud because I am about to use a Taylor Swift song reference.. “Are you Ready for it?”
Sorry that reference was so dorky, I am embarrassing, someone take this blog away from me. Just kidding. So here we are, we have finally made it to the cutest boots you will ever lay eyes on. They’re red. They’re (fake) suede. They’re thigh-high. They’re even on sale. Need I say more? I definitely could, but I probably shouldn’t because I am a ramblin’ woman. I will just leave you with a few more pictures of these precious babies. (also, they are a little wide at the thigh, but stay up just fine with a long pair of socks underneath)
