From my dining room to yours

Hey cutenesses,

It’s a Tuesday and a good day if you ask me. I only have one more day of class until a good ol’ 4 day weekend and I really cannot be more thrilled. I can surely tell you that I am much more excited to eat turkey than study the neural pathways one more damn time. During the boringness that is science classes at UNR, I take the time to plan my outfit for Thanksgiving.. so that way I can help you do the same.

I am just going to tell you now to skip the bedazzled sweatpants and ratty zip ups and opt for a cuter look. Your outfit needs to scream “I am absolutely the star of this family affair, but watch yourself because I am out for blood when it comes to my food”. In reality, your outfit should be what the family is thankful for.. girlfriend, give em something to talk about all the way up until Christmas Eve.. in a good way though.

I plan to wear something cute but comfy. Real cliché, I know. I love the idea of a cute sweater and some leggings, or you could even get wild with a little dress/skirt action. Who knows, just throwing some ideas out there?? I would really advise avoiding any outfits that look like they may also be worn by your great great grandmother, and maybe those that are only in fashion in late night clubs. There is nothing worse than being poorly dressed for an occasion.. or having to tell the 5th relative in a row that you really don’t know what you are going to do after college.

But these ideas will take all of the guesswork out of your wardrobe choices come Thursday. 🙂 Since I know I am cutting it a little close on the shopping train, you can even wear these looks to some upcoming holiday parties, Christmas in general, or just a night when you wanna look cute and festive.

Also please appreciate my neutral color scheme because there is nothing better than matching the leaves for just a little longer before they live us and get covered in snow this winter. Get into that wardrobe and pick out that outfit ASAP!

Happy Thanksgiving! <3
